Cosmo starts his journey by exploring what the world was like before most people relied on electricity. Students then discover how the brightness of candles compares to light bulbs, different ways that homes are heated in the winter, what forms of communication only work with electricity, how the foods we eat would be very different without access to refrigerators, and how even road safety depends on reliable access to electricity.
